3. Make EV conversion possible for non-specialists
Electrogenic manufactures award-winning EV conversion kits for specific vehicles. Our “drop-in” kits currently cover a range of European cars, from Land Rovers, through XKEs (Jaguar E Types), Porsche 911s, classic Minis, DeLoreans and many more. We have a self-fit kit for the classic Mini – and it’s so good we won a Top Gear Car of the Year award for it!’. Each kit is custom-designed to fit the individual car, and is tuned to make it drive perfectly. 4. Enable small car manufacturers to create sophisticated EVs
Electrogenic is a systems integration specialist that designs and integrates EV powertrains for small car manufacturers. We work at any level from integrating main components (batteries, motors) already chosen by the car manufacturer, to designing and manufacturing the entire powertrain and designing and integrating every system in the car. The core of everything is EG-OS.
Working for car manufacturers is nearly always secret, but one car we can talk about is the full-sized Tamiya Wild One. We designed and manufactured the entire powertrain for this car. We took the powertrain from a blank sheet of paper to a fully homologated road-legal production car (EU M1 type-approval) in only nine months – 41 destructive tests, each one passed first time to achieve a record approval time. 5. Support the next generation of Defence
