You’ll find the Electric Ferrari at this year’s REFUEL Race at Laguna Seca!
REFUEL is Speed Ventures’ annual clean power motorsports event which will be held at the Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca on May 22nd, 2016.
In this 8th annual event, you’ll find electric cars and motorcycles of all types with grand sponsors like TreadHunter at this world-renowned raceway. The event is open to production EVs as well as to conversions and purpose-built all electric race cars, so you’re likely to see a little bit of everything! There will be pro and amateur EV race teams vying to set lap records in their respective classes.
If you’re an EV driver, this may be your heaven. You’ll be able to drive your vehicle (EV, motorcycle, or Electric Kart) FAST on the raceway, as well as receive basic performance driving instruction if you need it. Participate in a time trial (speedy!) and a parade lap (slow!). If you’re participating in the race and time trial, you’ll even get free charging!
